Nose showing a beautiful mix of myer lemon and butterscotch. Palate had good acidity and a very mineral driven profile. Although oak is very apparent on the nose it is more restrained on the palate. Nice balance, myer lemon, chalk minerality and a very creamy smooth texture.

Real presance for its age. Good structure, decently grippy tannin. Nose had roasted peppers, white pepper, dusty dark fruit. Palate was moderately complex, good mineral presance and good acidity. Not an overly thrilling wine but enjoyable. Restaurant purchase in Vegas so QpR for me was not very good.

Just outright amazing champagne. Jeremy Holmes note really nails it for me. Some oxidative character but very fresh and great concentration of flavor.

Very powerful nose, really a lot going on here, gamey red fruit, some floral undertones, still very youthful. Palate shows great complexity, precision and balance. This was a real treat and very much enjoyed, would love to see the development with some more time in the cellar. 96+

2012 Roses de Jeanne / Cédric Bouchard Champagne Rosé de Saignée Creux d'Enfer 94 Points

Cranberry is a dominant player throughout, this was much more concentrated than the last bottle (different vintage) and had a very focused red fruit/mineral palate. Fine and energetic bead, lively on the tounge.
