N: SMOKE, flowers (violets), RIPE berries, minerals: As I've found previously with this producer's reds, so MUCH going on that it's tough for me to parse!
P: LM body; Very NICE, ALMOST swtish frt met by an astringent pucker which, while staying within hailing distance of the init frt, works itself into a LONG, balanced finish with a delectable tangy/swtness to the few, very, VERY slightly bitterish, dusty tannins. Approachable now with food, this DESERVES/needs into, poss through, '21, then making its 10th? An impressive wine, PARTICULARLY aromatically! 13.5% ABV; My EXC, *very* likely at LEAST a notch higher with time. 98 pts Dunnuck, 95 & "Cellar Selection" WE @ $90, & 94 Suckling!
