For some reason my notes from yesterday said 2013. Disgorged 02/2018, 4.5 g/l dosage and a blend of 70 PM, 20 Chard, 10 PN. Some bitter citrus pith, saline and some astringence. There was some fruit in here, what I wrote down as light amounts of apple and strawberry but overall I didn't care for this wine.
No back label info. Zesty, good acidity but came off just kind of burly to me, a bit rough. In my view, for what this costs, there are numerous other examples of really fine Rose out there.
Disgorged 05/2017, 100% PN with just under 2 g/l dosage. Good structure here with pear and zippy strawberry woven through it. Acidity is bright, some minerality too. This can use some time in the bottle of aeration.
Disgorged 01/2019, with about 5 g/l dosage and a mix of Chard, PN and PM. This was one of the best wines of the tasting for me. Dried herb, green apple, leesy aromas, some chalk and strawberry. Fruit is nicely present with good structure, clean minerally finish. Terrific. I had bought a bunch of these on pre-release and glad I did.
My WOTD for the tasting. Green apple, some toast from the wood with a cool mineral note running through the palate and finish. Has the beautiful Vilmart acidity running through it, complementing the fruit, rendering an elegant balance that is excellent. Picked up a few more of these for the cellar, as this is a great vintage for GCdO.
For what this costs, which I think was selling for $125 yesterday at the event, it's just not worth the money for me. The Vilmart GCd'O that was being poured, for me that wine blew away the Comtes. Smells toasty with apple, nectarine and some lemony citrus, with good length and light imprint of slate. I know plenty of people like this cuvee, but I'm just not all that wowed here.

Chewy and full of mineral. Smells like flowers and crushed rocks, tastes of apple. A delicious, mineral-driven wine.
