Very pale straw. Smoke, spice, vanilla on the nose, a touch reduced. Medium bodied, fresh. quite linear, spice, lemon, vanilla, vibrant acidity, long lemony finish. A touch difficult to judge at this stage, needs more time.

Pale/medium gold. Nose shows orangey fruit, ripe apple, some florals. Plenty of life here. Medium bodied, quite viscous, orangey fruit, spice, fresh acidity, decent length orangey finish. Not overly complex but complete, harmonious and a pleasure to drink.

Pale/medium garnet/mahogany, wide mahogany rim. Gently fragrant, spicy nose, lots of soil, touch of white pepper, underlying red fruit. Quite complex. Medium bodied, spice, mushroom, dried red fruit, resolved tannins, vibrant acidity, medium to good length finish. A pleasure to drink.

Medium garnet, pale garnet rim. Rich nose, red and black fruits, sesame seed - still quite marked by oak. Medium/full on the palate, rich. quite fruit still, touch of meatiness, vibrant acidity, firm tannins restricting finish.

Pale mahogany core, wide pale mahogany rim. Nose is discreet, soil, spice, underlying dried red fruit. palate is quite stern, medium bodied, spice, earth, dried red fruit, lean slightly drying medium/good length finish. Old-fashioned, better with food.

Medium garnet core, pale garnet rim. Nose is a touch reticent, showing dark fruit, spice. Medium to full bodied, quite mouth-filling, deep, dark spicy fruit, tannins a touch firm still, good length finish - iron notes. Enjoyable, just about drinking.

7/9. Bright medium ruby/garnet, pale garnet rim. Nose is quite developed, mulch, undergrowth, underlying red fruit. Medium bodied, quite rich on initial entry - mulch, undergrowth again - lovely soft tannins, then vibrant acidity carries a pure, long raspberry fruited finish. Really lovely, drinking beautifully.

Attractive perfumed nose, florals, red fruits, spice. Medium bodied, quite delicate, airy and refined, red fruit, florals, very fine tannins, vibrant/crisp acids, good length harmonious finish. lovely and pretty much at its peak I would say.

Lovely bright, medium/gold, sparse notes on this one but complete, stone fruit, very drinkable!
