Exotic fruit leaning towards pineapple but generally pure and clean flavors. Lovely acidity and overall a lovely wine.

Very exotic fruit and a touch of botrytis. The sweetness is quite compact but still with a decent acidity.
Perhaps a bit to young at the moment and it will certainly improve. A lovely wine.

Creme fraiche and buttermilk mixed with sweet strawberry fruit and a lot of different spices.
Quite bitter aftertaste with sour cranberry fruit which, for me, kept the wine in a decent balance.
It is truly not a regular rose to sip on a hot day. It is a compact, dense and truly special wine. It is definitely not a palate-cleanser like a normal rose wine.
It is a wine for contemplation and really something to get excited about! Beautiful and delicious but also very special. 94-95p
Over time, the alcohol dominates the flavors a bit but as long as it is kept fairly cold it is truly a great experience to drink!

Very rustic and not as refined as I normally find Rayas. There are some strawberry fruit but for me, this must have been a slightly cooked/defective bottle.

Sweet dark blackberry fruit with a lot of oak influence.
Overall, it is a lovely wine but not refined. Still a good expression.

Classic, clean and pure flavors. Lovely and probably at its peak. I don't see this improving as it is now.

Dark fruit and tar explodes from the glass mixed with sewer and manure.
Similar on the palate but also with a lovely and quite impressive balance. This wine has developed very well and must be considered to be at its peak.
I had expected an alcohol driven wine due to the vintage but it really surprised.
There are some dried spices and vanilla but also some developed tannins and a lovely acidity. Beautiful wine and truly a pleasure to try this at this level!

High alcohol with rustic cherry and strawberry fruit. Some barnyard and menthol also.
Lovely, but not my style.

High alcohol with a huge tannin structure. Still very young and packed with compact dark fruit.
Lovely intensity and huge acidity.

Red apple fruit with a touch of vanilla and sweet baked sugar cookies.
Clean and refreshing acidity but also some toasted bread with honey.
Lovely wine and for me it is at its peak.

Passion fruit and pineapple flavor but for me the acidity is not high enough. The wine seems disjointed but overall, it is a decent wine.

1995 Charles Heidsieck Champagne Blanc des Millénaires 95 Points

Bruised yellow apples and a touch of pineapple with a high acidity. Showing lovely development with caramel and brown sugar but not in a bad way.
Quite salty and it has a touch of cheddar cheese. Great wine with a wonderful depth.
