2011 Domaine Chantal Lescure Nuits St. Georges Les Damodes
France, Burgundy, Côte de Nuits, Nuits St. Georges
Red fruits, slight metallic notes, a little stalks, earth, leather...Slightly sour and ashy red fruit with a sweet fruited core, talc textured burr, happy that this has finally come around. Nice.

2010 Alain Jaume Lirac Clos de Sixte
France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Lirac
Blackberry and black pepper, a little earth, touch of woody sweet spice, cream, smells very fresh. Medium plus intensity acidity, tightly textured tannins, peppery with blackberry fruit, slight alcohol warmth, absolutely lovely.

1990 Wynns Coonawarra Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
Australia, South Australia, Limestone Coast, Coonawarra
Blackcurrant, coffee, caramel, mocha, vanilla, leather, surprisingly polished oak, rich. Juicy acidity tends to the very slightly sour, slight alcohol warmth, blackcurrant fruit, chalky tannins though the oak is less obvious on the palate but sweet spice and cedar in support. Nice
