Initially a spiritus note, that covered most of the other aroma’s, but luckily it blew off after some time. Ripe, plenty of fruit, apricot, dough, brioche, yeast. Seems still to be on the young side, no hurry. High acidity, long finish. 92-93
What an energy! 50 shades of lemon, lime and grapefruit. Some petrol, a hint of mint. Lineair with so much extract. It’s already brilliant, but this will be so much better in 10-15 years. High acidity, long finish. 92++
Medium lemon with a slight haze. Medium+ intensity on the nose with almonds, speculoos, sweet spices, candied citrus, ginger, minerality. Clearly sur lie. High acidity, a bitter note in the long finish. 92+ One of those cult wines that was on my list to try, very good, but not brilliant (yet?)
France, Burgundy, Côte de Beaune, Corton Grand Cru
Almost as good as the first bottle and got better and better during the evening. Caramel, rich fruit, oak, bread, light oxidative. Full bodied, medium acidity, long finish. Not sure I would describe it as elegant, but so enjoyable
Initially quite a bit of barnyard and VA. Lots of extraction. Black berry, black fruit, violets. A bit funky. Medium+ acidity, high and hard tannins and the moment. Long finish. Would love to see this with a bit more age. 91+
I don’t often drink (high end) Napa wines, a pleasure to do so. So much fruit; plum, black berries, hint of ceder, coffee and graphite. Already so well integrated tannins. Interesting to note the difference between nose and palate; on the nose a thick fruit bomb, on the palate much more elegant and more old world. 93+
Warm, ripe with spices, ginger bread, very ripe black fruit. Full bodied, medium acidity, medium+ tannins, Long finish. Good, but not entirely my style (too ripe)

As with the previous bottles: more interesting than enjoyable and this one also had a hint of cork taint
