Anton, Jen, Anne, and Ben came over for an evening celebrating the end of the Appleton Farms CSA harvest and for some interesting wines. I finally broke out the Talbott which Ben and I originally tried over a year ago at the Skinner Auction Reception. Anton and Jen had never met Anne before and were pleasantly surprised by her entertaining irreverance.

As usual, it was a great night of cheer. After downing a Rock Star energy drink, I even had enough stamina to do all the dishes and 30 glasses before going to bed. It is always nice to not have to wake up to a blitzkreiged kitchen.
NV Château de la Velle Crémant de Bourgogne Brut 88 Points
France, Burgundy, Crémant de Bourgogne
Similar to my previous notes: Light golden color. Good bubbles. Nose of pear. Fruity palate of pear and apple. Good drinker.
