4/9/2024 - UFGators Likes this wine: 95 pointsThis wine is rocking right now. Yes it needs air and will certainly benefit from age but it is such a joy to drink right now. Impecable balance. Not a hard edge on this wine yet its true potential is still tightly wound. 95+. Hold if you only have 1 or 2. If you have more open one to try. |

4/6/2024 - weezie Likes this wine: 93 pointsMore open and giving than other 2010 Brunellos. Very classic character with notes of chocolate, licorice band tobacco. Good structure and tannic backbone. Needed 45-60 minutes in the defanter after a splash decant to soften and come together, but was open for business after that. 93+ |

4/5/2024 - Vasily Likes this wine: 94 pointsCork was excellent. Color showed some bricking. Palate of medium fruit and only mild tannins. It was a great wine to sip alone and with our appetizers. Probably a good place to drink up the last bottle. We followed with another Brunello, also a 2010, Casanova di Nero, that had more intense fruit and more tannic character and it matched well with the heavier main course. Both were excellent I’m glad we drank the Pacenti first. |

3/23/2024 - Vasily Likes this wine: 94 pointsCork was in perfect condition. Was worried based on some earlier comments. Intense and complex fruit but not overbearing. Alcohol slightly higher than I would prefer but it did not detract from the overall experience. Deep rich color. Drinking window still has a bit of time left. I’ll probably hold my last bottle until next year. |

3/23/2024 - cvst Likes this wine: 93 pointsExcellent bottle. Again decanted half of it on the first night and drank the the other half on the second. Ready and open with dried cherry, cranberry, graphite and wet soil on the nose. More dried fruit, raisin, bell pepper, autumn leaves, pencil shavings, leather and soil on the palate. Present acidity, good tension and good balance. The wine held together perfectly and comfortably and was drinking beautifully over two days |

3/16/2024 - Matt D Likes this wine: 96 pointsMedium ruby, clean with no bricking. Classic Sangiovese expression- dried cherries, iron, blood, earth, leather, and woody spice. This wine was in a beautiful place, tannins have softened and this has hit a superb drinking window, drink now - 2035. |

3/16/2024 - Scooter McGraw Likes this wine: 94 pointsA well-balanced Brunello. Not too acidic, zero floral notes (very glad about that) but also not “modern” in the Parker sense. Light bricking. Probably the best of the 2006’s I’ve tried (Ucceleria, La Serena, Casanova Di Neri and a few others). Fresh with still slightly dusty tannins, nose is a great example of the varietal. Stored in Eurocave since release. An enjoyable wine with maybe a few more years to go. Certainly worth trying now if it’s still lurking around your cellar. |

3/5/2024 - Richard P Howden wrote: 91 pointsIn a restaurant in Milan. In a lovely place now, rich classic Sangiovese notes (earthy cherry is how I identify it) on the nose and palate, good richness and length. Well balanced and eminently food friendly. Very good for its level, indeed very enjoyable overall. Fine producer in a great vintage and even the entry level wines are worthy of attention. |

2/24/2024 - Jofie Likes this wine: 98 pointsMonumental Brunello. The nose is already extremely seductive with soft but spicy wood notes, lots of vanilla and fresh, ripe cherries. On the palate, the wine confirms this impression - initially a lot of delicately melting fruit, then slowly more and more spice, which in the centre is supported by a lot of tightly woven and already well-integrated tannins. Lots of power, lots of extract, very harmonious with a long, very harmonious finish, mainly on the spicy side. Already a lot of fun, but can easily remain in the cellar for a few more years. |

2/4/2024 - winelover1808 Likes this wine: 91 pointswow this had a massive anise/black licorice nose that really dominated the wine. the mouthful was quite pretty - darker red fruits; a tad stewed; nice finish. still a hint of heat and def medium+ bodied. poured this for a crowd as a mystery wine and it was a bit polarizing |

1/20/2024 - Lipsman wrote: 88 pointsAroma of alcohol and vanilla. Huge dark fruit flavors backed by bitter berry tea. Bitterness usually indicates unresolved oak tannins to me, and this is likely the case. It has tasted like this since my first bottle in 2015. Not bad with pizza. This wine needs food. My last bottle, and I’m happy about that. 100 points from Suckling. 🤷 |

1/13/2024 - gmbdds wrote: 91 pointsDecanted. The cork came out in two pieces and the filter took out the particulate. The nose is quite expressive. The palate is nice but more reticent over several hours. Cherry and earth notes. These two notes are predominant but done well with a sleek mouthfeel and drying, tannic finish. |
