Pretty much in this drinking plateau for a few years, tannins mostly resolved, flowers, stems, and dark soils are all there. Finished a tad spicy too. Inner mouth perfume lingering on, nice, not what I would expect from a Beaune. A thinking man’s Burgundy. Graceful Beaune rouge. Exceptional 1er Cru and normally great value. |

Palate of earthy tart cherries with something perhaps hinting of rose. Very smooth, lovely long finish. A little sweetness mid palate. Really great burg. |
