Reasonably serious, clean and fresh, this displays crushed sea shell, dense fruit, and well integrated brightness. Not overtly serious or complex, yet has depth and lip smacking qualities. Enough stuffing to to last perhaps 3 years or so. Perhaps my best QPR wine of the year at $20. |

7/8/2022 - KenK Likes this wine: 91 pointsOne of the better Assyrtiko wines tasted on this trip to Santorini out of about a dozen tasted thus far. From Oia, which is on the northern tip of the island, unlike many which the South central area. This wine is fleshy with nice richness balanced by a good acid brightness. It comes across well balanced and fruity. Peaches and pear dominate the flavor profile, yet a penetrating saline like minerality and fresh clean character keep this lively and interesting. A wine I don’t see improving, but drinking very well now. After trying examples of this varietal with 3-4 more years of age that show a slightly oxidized note, recommend drinking over the next year or so. I paid just under 50 euros. |

Although lighter in weight and intensity then I typically prefer, this was a delight. Rezek Society honoring Hugo. |

Walnuts, molasses, orange rind, and cinnamon spice. Rich and oily with lip smacking acidity. A little goes a long way. Impressive. |
