4/2/2014 - Barry Notes Likes this wine: 90 pointsSullivan's Pairing: PnP no decant/glass time. Deep dark purple color. Best Moshin of the night. Rutherford sourced fruit, big, rich wine w/coffee, slight tar, dark/blue fruit, moderate tannins, long finish. Good balance and will cellar yet for years. Nothing off. |

11/6/2006 - gmarcos wrote: 76 pointsClear deep red. Very light on the nose, perhaps a bit earthy. The first thing that struck me was the lack of aroma. After some vigourous swirling, it yeilds a nice bouquet but it quickly fades. Now, I try some and it is not very good. It is astringent and has a strange taste to it, almost chemically. The aroma was better than the wine. It's also alcohol forwards and hits you strong. The body is fine and smooth. There is no finish. Oh, it does have a very nice label with a hummingbird on it. Since I paid for it, I probably drink it, but my notion is not for Moshin. |

4/6/2013 - Pufferfish22 Does not like this wine: NROverwhelmingly sweet flavor with a light, toasty, mineral finish. Not very balanced. Finish is on the short side. Any promising flavor this wine might have had is overtaken by the sugar. The nose is generic - green fruit with light toast. |

Too much RS and not balanced. I like the body and the interesting petroleum nose n palate. But it needs more acid and less sugar. |
