Lovely aromatic nose of bing cherries, strawberry, roses, vanilla and cedar. Light velvety tannins, oak and alcohol well-integrated. Medium body. Low acidity. Sweet red cherry, sour cherry and savory tobacco on the palate, sun-dried tomatoes, cranberry, spice, orange notes and a very pleasant hint of iron/copper. Lingering red fruit finish with a slight drying grip. Still has a few years ahead. |

On devine qu'en jeunesse ça devait être pas mal boisé car ce sont ces notes qui dominent encore mais sous des itérations vanillées, chocolatées, de balsamique et de noix de coco. Les tanins sont souples et l'acidité est parfaitement équilibrée. Un rouge assez riche et un brin baroque qui évoque à ce stade-ci, un peu un Amarone. À boire d'ici 2 ans. |
