5/3/2023 - rikipedia Likes this wine: 88 pointsFizz tasting (Clara's Barn): (Tasted Blind): Constant stream of bubbles that are fairly intense but mid-sized. A lifted, gently perfumed nose with bright citrus fruits and a note of aftershave. A mousse, foamy entry on the palate with soft, frothy fruit and no autolytic characteristics. This is easy to drink with a pleasant fruity, fresh acidity, with a medium to short finish. It is good, with a fair finish that is pleasant and works nicely, but a little short. |

Delicious acidity. There's a slight tartness that disappears quickly. But I love the entrance it makes. Shorter finish, but this is still lovely. |

Get more of a petrol quality nose and palate as one may experience with Riesling...on mid/late palate there is that citrus lemon/lime note that comes through but a little overwhelmed with the petrol. Not sure what is up with this, but will wait a couple of months to try another... |

8/14/2014 - YWG Wine Guy Likes this wine: 88 pointsSampled @ Cabin and was perfect for summer, a little pricey for the package, but nice diversion from the usual summer white - SB or the PG...get out and explore new varietals/blends! So, nose is light with green apple/citrus. Palate is light+ with nice acid and pretty much lemon/lime citrus qualities. Fades on the med finish. Great sipping in afternoon and with light fare. Drinks at its peak now it seems and into 2016. |

2/18/2014 - YWG Wine Guy Likes this wine: NRWell, been a good year on since last go. Perhaps not as complex as i suggested, based on another reviewers notes, but still a steel at 18$. Clearly not improving further with age and is time to drink this over 2014 in my opinion. |

6/30/2012 - YWG Wine Guy Likes this wine: 89 pointsGeez, last note by Tarrant is gushing...was somewhat hesitant opening this one, hoping i didn't just buy 6 bottles of cooking wine...Would not take away from Tarrant's thoughts and review. Pretty much similar experience. I just popped and poured a taste, but i think with a little decant and 1-2 C below room temp this will sing as described. Clearly will hold for a few more years as highlighted. For 18$ and from Opimian - steel. Would look for next vintage/offering from producer. Have 5 more to go. |
