Fylligt och smakrikt och ett relativt simpelt men oerhört gott vin utan lager av komplexitet. Det här vinet brukar inte vara just så här sött utan något mer välbalanserat. Decent pairing with some spicier food. Almost certainly nearing end of its prime though. |

Very small tannins, polished to velvet. The alcohol (15%) very well integrated. Flavours of black concentrated fruit and lots of cacao. Thriving and seducingly delicious. And still very good on day three. |

Nose: Cherries, Raisins Palete: Full body, sweet with some finess, cherry, raisin, hard to tell about tannins and acid since the balanced sweetness is in focus. Summary: Supricingly balanced as I don´t fancy sweet wines. Had it with hard cheeses from Savoy, Italy, Sweden (Oland/borgholm) and a goats milk cheese from somewhere? Perfekt match with figs in Cognac, plum marmelade etc |

There is enough acidity and tannin to keep things lively. It is a perfectly respectable drop with a hearty pasta mid-week. I decanted half the bottle for 90 minutes and it mellowed out a lot. |

Made from air-dried Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone, this wine has dark, concentrated flavours of raisins, fig, raspberry and blackberry jam, stewed cherries and damsons. Everything about it is bold - the deep, rich colour, the intense, sweet aroma and the explosive flavours. But it also has subtlety layered on top. A drizzle of vanilla, wisps of smokiness, a finish of allspice, nutmeg and clove wrapped in soft velvety tannins. The producer says this is a good meditation wine to end a meal, which sums it up perfectly. |
