Delicious, fruit forward yet restrained, good acidity, intergrated tannins, beautiful sipper, just a smidge hot (but at 15% makes sense).

A bit of a difficult experience. Not that this is a shocking wine, but there really isn't much in it.

Drinkable but I was not thrilled with the blending of the flavors. The Chenin Blanc seem to dominate but the Riesling really distracted instead of adding to it. Some of my guests who were not very knowledgeable about wine really liked it a lot

Dark purple in color with a short purple rim. Not showing age at all.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Full bodied and smooth with medium acidity.

Showing black plums, cooked cherries, spices, light oak, herbs, light vanilla, dark chocolates, light vegetables, tobacco, light earth and peppercorn.

Nice finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.

This 10 year old Israeli Malbec is delicious. Peaking now and will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.

Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.

Wine Enthusiasts 90 points.

I had this vintage over 3 years ago, and it is still delicious.

This Single Vineyard is a great sipping wine, that will also pair nicely with a big piece of steak.

Aged in French oak barrels for 15 months. A small production of only 6,700 bottles. Kosher and not Mevushal.

15% alcohol by volume.

$35.

Blend of all kinds of things including syrah, carignan and others,
Vivid red purple colour, doesn't look 8 years old at all.
Big spicy nose, fresh, violets, cloves
Nice acidity, tastes really fresh, hard to believe this is 15%, firm furry tannins, toasty oak. Long and rich.
This really needs time but showing a lot of class.

Purple in color with a wide reddish/ purple rim.

Sweet nose with red fruits, spices, light oak and chocolates.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with blueberries, currants, plums, cherries, light oak, dark coffee, pencil lead, earth, tobacco leaf, herbs, light vegetables and peppercorn.

Spicy finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a very young red blend from Israel. Easy drinking right out of the bottle, and a nice sipping wine.

Fruit forward and interesting. Feels like a Cotes du Rhône red.

Would be nice to revisit it in a couple of years.

I paired it with cheeses, nuts and fresh berries.

Nice dark Ruby purple color with bright Ruby edges. Nice sweet red fruit bouquet with some spiciness. Medium bodied with nice concentrated fruit. Strawberries come around raspberries, red fruits, spice, minerals with a nice long finish. Went first tasted it was somewhat monolithic but after a couple of hours of breathing it really opened up. Of note when it was first opened it was not necessarily Panic or anything of the like but just really was not open. Drinks well enough a couple of hours of breathing. Likely it's best over the next few years. QPR even. Definitely worth trying. Has very good balance and good fruit flavors and it is not overripe or over the top.

2/27/2023 - sshayfin Likes this wine: 93 points

A single vineyard from Tel machfi , just next to shaal village in the Golan heights.A 1000 meter hight vineyard
only Gewürztraminer, late harvest, with a hint of Nobel rot (botrytis) , less then 10%.

Deep lemon colour, very elegant, smooth and rich aromas and flavours of peach, pear, marmalade.
The botrytis is well blended in this wine, with the hints of fungal aromas. The suitness is well balanced with the grape acidity

Probably one of the best desert wines in israel Nowdays. Aging potential of 25 years, depends how old you love your desert wines.
