There's some oak spice that is an interesting difference from the Australian SBS I'm more familiar with that are usually made in tank. |

Full, forward & fragrant nose of ripe citrus aromas of melons, lemons/limes & stone fruit with floral & mineral overtones, herbs, spices & a subtle hint of grassiness in the background. Light bodied with a good concentration of crisp, balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of grapefruit, lemons/limes, melon & stone fruits & minerals. Lingering crisp dry finish. Drinks quite well at present although it may gain complexity from an additional year of further aging. A blend of 50% Sauvignon & 50% Semillion. Very good QPR. |
