It is medium/full bodied showing rich red and dark fruit tinged with blackberry, a certain earthiness, decent acidity and a liquorice infused quite tannic finish. It does not have the elegance of more northerly Syrah but is very enjoyable in its own way. Good. |

Smooth in the mouth with soft tannins but has enough acidity to give it some freshness. Red and black fruit with clove and liquorice notes. GV mid week drinker. |
