4/21/2024 - Moloko Likes this wine: 91 pointsBright red no sign of browning. Full of bright mulberry, mint and cassis. Tannin is fine and resolved on a med-long finish. Will do another 9 years in its stride. Great QPR. |

There’s a bit of spice on the palate though. Low/medium acid, medium weight overall. Friendly tannins, short/medium length. Others like this a lot more than I – just the way it goes I guess. CD$36, AK$17 |

12/24/2023 - DrinkerTrev Likes this wine: 92 pointsA great Cabernet Sauvignon. Purchased 5 years ago at auction for $19. Worth near $100 IMHO. A great Coonawarra red. Deep forest flavours with blackberry grabbing your attention. Low tannins delivering a smooth red. Will develop for another 10 years. Had with some BBQ fillet steak and some pork rissoles made from the mince pork (15% fat) I bought for the Christmas turkey seasoning. Love the fact that I bought over a dozen of these. |

9/4/2023 - LindsayM Likes this wine: 94 pointsAn fragrant and concentrated Leconfield Cabernet Sauvignon which was aged in 50% new French oak for 18 months prior to bottling. Cassis and cinnamon on the nose leading to a medium bodied palate rich with blackberries, plums, and violets. Finishes with super silky tannins. will be better after a few years in the cellar |
