It's drinking wonderfully right now and has aged a lot better than I had imagined it might. A wonderful balance of fruit and tertiary flavors. Very smooth and resolved tannins. Excellent right now. I'll likely open the rest of my bottles over the next couple of years. |

Something which I perceived as alcohol heat but wasn't because that also dissipated with air. The estate seems to have fairly classical planting for the area, Syrah, Grenache, etc. I don't recall a wine with such strong liquorice and herbal notes combined with unusually lively acidity for the region.
