Don't buy this expecting a fruity Americanized Malbec. This is old world style.
Deep purple, lots of earth on the nose, rich mouth feel, the palate shows very little floral and fruit characters, and has exceptional balance.
The most unique 2008 Malbec I have had so far...

Will review again in a more elaborate way, had all of these wines 12 hours ago, and only took brief notes due to the lack of time.

Deep yellow, ripe fruits on the nose, the palate is ripe and fruit forward, almost sweet finish. The acid has really toned down, would suggest drinking now, it appears to be at the end. Consume at opening.

Nice complex blend, not typical to see out of Oregon. Such a small amount of Pinot Noir seems to stand out pretty well in the finish.

I usually do not record wines at this level of quality.
The color and texture of water, very little flavor, no acidity aside from the citrus flavor.
Comparable to drinking a cold water with extra lemon.

Let it breath, very spicy and peppery upon opening.
This blows off as the wine opens up into a pretty good bottle.

1.5 Liter bottle
Had at a dinner party.
Great wine, a little over priced, but opens up well.
Upon opening: very firm astringent tannins, after about an hour and a half the flavor profile is lengthened with a very nice vanilla character.

Was a wine dinner party, so no Elaborate notes taken.

89 Points for this bottle.
Have tried this vintage at least 3 dozen times, bottling is inconsistent, but here and there a fantastic wine will show.
Very hit and miss, even if its not right on, still a great night cap wine after drinking all the pricey stuff.

More rustic Italian aromas, big vanilla through the fruit finish that lingers. Not on every bottle but worth it when you get an on par bottle. Notes like this will encourage this winery to strive to be more consistent.

This is my day off, no elaborate notes taken.

Wine tasted in 28 OZ Riedel.
Upon opening:
Brick red in color
This wine provides aromas of dried black cherry, menthol, black pepper, and incense.
On the palate: concentrated cherry and tart cranberry. These flavors carry on with the essence of vanilla, very soft silky tannins with an intense dried fruit finish.
