After just over an hour open, the wine took on notes of honeysuckle, melon, green apple and subtle tones of honey. Long on the finish. Bold but not too sweet. Drinking absolutely perfectly and for many more years to come! |

Definitely not as forward as you get vintages, but showing the strength of the ‘82 vintage. Drink now but would probably still hold it’s own for another few years. |

A huge amounts of fruit still on the nose, but surprisingly, not overpowering. The palate contains burnt wood, and nuts before turning over to the typical soft mineral characteristics that make an Ausone a true delight to taste! |
