Lovely wine. Intense juicy citrus, lime peel, tons of flinty minerals, white and yellow florals. Tons of acidity and tension.

Very nice GG that should age really well.

NOSE: fresh rain, light petrol, and bright melon. Planted firmly in the "lighter/brighter" portion of the aromatic spectrum.

BODY: light green-yellow color; some spritz noted; full bodied.

TASTE: high acidity; green grapes and light gooseberry; powdery incense; embedded mineral tones; nice forward drive; complete; impressive; 8.5% alc. not noticeable; hint of wintergreen mint on the finish; powdery incense note morphs into a bitter florals - type thing after a few hours open. Calmly excellent. Everything seems to be the right amount, in the right place.

50, 5, 12, 17, 8 = 92+

Sulfuric notes with a hint of vanilla, 3 layered nose :sulfur, vanilla, oily wood.

High acid, medium mouthfill. Lasts for about 20 seconds in the mouth. Acid gets more intense after it leaves the pallet.

Drinkable now, but can definitely be stored for more years

The mostly citrus and lime aroma on the nose does nothing to prepare you for what is following on the palate. Delicious stone fruit and melon, lots of citrus of course, and a touch of honey, all lifted up by a shearing acidity and a very long slightly bitter aftertaste. Nervous and edgy but delightful all the same with a long future ahead. Not ready yet.

A slightly funky note and a sweetness that is not in swing with the rest of the wine.

Let's see how the wine develops the next couple of days.
Parker (90) and the Suck (92) saw more in this wine than me.

fresh and vibrant on the palate, a little pithy and herbal, crisp juicy fruits abound, as well as hints of cooked fruit

dry and mineral finish, tart fruit lingers

Such a beauty. Crisp citrus, gooseberry and Granny Smith apples, followed by honey, nettles and a lingering minerality. Great length, complexity and concentration.

The wine is clear, with pale lemon gold color, and thick legs.

On the nose, the wine is clean, with medium primary aroma intensity of ripe white fruits, white flowers, citrus, herbaceous.

On the palate, the wine feels off-dry (www.weingutwittmann.de saying Dry), with medium plus acidity, medium body, medium alcohol, medium plus primary flavor intensity of ripe white fruits, citrus, grapefruit, lemon, lemon zest.

Finish is long, with slight green notes and pronounce minerality.

The wine is of a very good quality, as it is showing great balance between primary concentrated fruits, acidity and minerality.
It is having excellent length, and showing complexity.

The wine was a bit closed at time of tasting, and I believe it is fairly young to be enjoyed at this stage. Further bottle aging will bring to front more of the primary characteristics, along with hints of classic tertiary.

Finish is long, with pronounce green notes.

The wine is of a very good quality, as it is showing great balance between fruit concentration, acidity and minerality.
It is having excellent length, and complexity.

The wine was fairly shy at time of tasting, not very generous, with noticeable green notes, thus it will definitely benefit from future bottle aging, in order to bring to the front more pronounce primary aromas and flavors, along with the classic tertiary ones.

Tasting Ground official tasting, Wittmann, A tale of 2 vineyards (Oinoscent): Different to either 2018 and (surely) 2019, more dried herbal notes like thyme next to the usual citrus/grapefruit ones, floral notes, jasmine
Palate is juicy, lemon, tart, medium body, high acidity, mineral, ethereal but really youthful, lemon flavored long finish

Decanted 6 hours. Beautiful White fruit, clean, presise and with huge concentration. Lime and wet stone. Fantastic balance, high acidity but more balanced than 2019. Great potential
