5/15/2024 - nsellen Likes this wine: NRGold but not worryingly so. Nose of aged Sauvignon and a lifted green fruit. Mouth viscous, rich nutty, citric, leafy and floral. This has plenty of fruit left but is clearly into secondary or even tertiary life. I like it, it’s complex and deep. It has echoes of sherry but also layers as the profile shifts from SB and Semillon to the Viognier. This is interesting and worth the wait. But I accept that most would describe it as OTH or even DOA. |

Orange in colour with an elegant sweet fruit nose the wine is mid weight and voluptuous but most importantly has great acidity so the balance is excellent. A lot mentions of Marmalade and can go along with that and certainly sweet but well balanced. Not very complex but that is not a problem. |
