Decent acidity holding it together, nice silky tannin. As with a lot of Southern Rhone wines in this price range, it didn't necessarily "grab me"- everything is fairly medium and 90% about soft, ripe fruit. It's rare that I'd choose this over a similarly-priced Northern Rhone, even if it was really tasty. |
