Perfumed strawberries, raspberries and candied cherries on the nose, no stems. On the palate rich and expansive, delectable and pleasurable pure delight and finishes nicely. Medium bodied this wine is ready for business and is gorgeous. |

Nose takes about 30 mins to blossom and shows off great aromas of red forest berries, dried florals, dark soy, forest floor and hint of spice. Superbly balanced and silky in the mouth showing more sweet and less sour red berries, savory mix of mushrooms and brown sauce, ripe acids and a long earthy and floral finish that is very dense and fans out on the palate. Best showing for this wine. |

Was so excited to try, and the timing couldn’t have been better as the Vinous article just came out. I can see why this property gets a lot of opinions but you can’t ignore its pedigree. Since first taste, can’t extrapolate nor tend to understand more recent vintage changes and possible enhancements, it comes across less dynamic than I would have expected for such a ripe vintage. It does have great balance both in structure, fruit, mineral and overall delivery. Look forward to tasting a more recent vintage. |
