Quite good. Took a couple of hours to show its best. Even though enjoyable and expressing good development, I think this will still improve with a few more years. Good rounded acidity balancing the mature red fruit and earth that show up with air. Very satisfying if not great wine. Took the remainder of the bottle home from my dad's house, one generous glass left, and my wife insisted on it for herself.

Very open-knit, medium-bodied, and delicious. However I am getting more of the warm-brick towards red-fruited spectrum of aromas than dark. A touch of minerality in the nose and a good dose of green pepper in the flavors. Has a plenty of the fine furry tannin that makes me think 'modern' winemaking. Just 13.5%. Have seen some folks advertising near $30 which is a smashing value, but price to me is just under $50.

Initially reduced and rather tight with a hint of oxidation. Opens up sufficiently after an hour, but not like the much more forward Campi Raudii current release. Piney, red-fuited, a touch of mineral aromas, with a big dollop of green at the end, surprising for this generally warm vintage. Works with food similar to a young, old-school Chianti. Good value under $17. Rather different from how a 2018 showed a few months ago, and am wondering how much of this is vintage variation vs. lot variation (this is Skurnik bottling), label is significantly different from previous vintages I've seen.
