10/15/2021 - Putnam Weekley Likes this wine: 90 pointsNOSE: Cherry cigar, bowling alley, coffee cups chiming in the center console. Baked cinnamon. Carob. MOUTH: a curled-down wave-front of pleading tannins. Fine tea. Cherry sham sincerity. Austere. Impressive with its texture and density. Quite alive. If you own bottles of this, consider waiting until 2026 to open them. Do it right, and have braised meat and gooey cheeses on the table. 88+? points. |

12/20/2023 - SB5784 Likes this wine: 90 pointsA glowing purple ruby red color. Transparent. On the nose, this is quite primary, with perfumed dark berry fruit, cherry, and spice. Some woody notes. Young but open and quite fine. On the palate, similar, dark wild berry, fresh and vibrant, with a coil of fresh acidity and ripe but quite present tannins. Medium alcohol. Quite refined and detailed on the medium weight mid palate. a nice balanced and fruit filled finish. Excellent for it's classification and, while young, I perfectly enjoyable now. |

12/3/2023 - ThijsV Likes this wine: NRLovely Bourgogne rouge, which surpassed its regional status in quality. It has developed some nice tertiary aroma’s, but at 5 years it can easily go another 5. Pure fruit, mostly red, some black. Good acidity and decent length. 88-89 |

10/27/2023 - burgconvert Likes this wine: 89 pointsThis has really come around in the last two years. The acidity has integrated well. The level is really that of a table wine that punches at the top of its class. With a little bit of air, you get a light sprinkle of lifted and airy red fruit that makes this an enjoyable drink. I don't think there's reason to hold this much longer as I don't think there's enough depth and detail at the secondary level to add much to the experience. |
