This is in a nice spot. The tannins have subsided a bit (there are still plenty of them, but they are a bit less punishing at this point) and they don't dry out the finish as much as previously. The nose and palate are less primary now compared to my last bottle (2 years ago), but the fruit is quite tasty, with decent persistence. No real tertiary development yet.

10th of a case. This has been a nice wine to have. It is unmistakably white burgundy. The nose is lemon curd, the palate has nice sappiness. It lacks some depth of fruit and length on the palate, but it's a delight and I'm glad I bought my case.

My last bottle of this wine. Cork in perfect condition, wine is in great shape. Some other bottles were hit or miss for me. The tannins on this are largely resolved, but still sufficient to age it a bit longer. The nose is fairly closed, with licorice and herbal notes prevailing over the cherry and oak. The wine went very well with food. It's unique and quite tasty. The 15% abv shows on the palate.

From magnum. Not tired at all - I slow oxed for a few hours and then decanted for an hour or so before consuming. Very dark color, expressive nose. 13% abv. Classic Gloria profile. A bit lean, but otherwise elegant, with fine tannins that don't dry things out. Medium+ finish. Delicious flavors. Really a wonderful experience as always for me from this producer.

The nose on this was mostly oak - lacking nuance. On the palate, it was remarkably elegant and balanced despite the 15% abv. The fruit is very ripe, but not overripe for my palate, and it retained nice freshness. The finish is outstanding - with tannins supporting, but not drying things out. It's a very nice wine (I don't love the high abv, but I guess that's just the nature of 2010), but if I had more I would hold for another 10 years.

Nice cigar box nose. Palate is a hair thin, lacking depth of fruit, and finishes with rough, drying tannins. Pretty nice flavor, but not a re-buy for me.

Almost 2 years to the day since my last bottle. Pnp straight from the cellar. This is aging well and is in a beautiful spot now, with the nose having opened up and the palate no longer showing the effervescence that I recalled from before. This is an elegant, tasty wine, with complexity and a long finish. I recommend drinking this at cellar temp. This should easily last through 2034.

This still needs time. It's a very modern presentation - lacks a lot of classic Bordeaux markers. Lots of oak on the nose, heavy tannins, but a lot of fruit underneath. Hold.

This continues to show well, with a lovely nose and lots of flavor. There is a bit of astringency (from the stems?) on the palate, but it works well with food. The tannins remain firm and could use some time to shed. The fruit is quite tasty.

This is a delicious wine that is aging slowly and gracefully. It is still quite dark in color, with a cigar box nose. The cab dominant palate has incredible freshness and delicious flavor with no unpleasant notes. The tannins are plentiful, but fine and don't really dry out the long finish. This is so balanced and elegant and it should have a long life.

The nose shows mostly wood at this point, but the palate is quite delicious with a lot of structure (very high acidity and high-ish tannins still) and tasty fruit. It's a great food wine. Finish is fairly quick. 13.5% abv makes it nicely balanced. I think this could get better with more time in the cellar, but it's lovely now as an unpretentious weeknight bottle.

This is such a beautiful wine with incredible qpr. My last 750 (I have a few magnums remaining). The nose is scorched earth and anise, with dark cherry and some lovely floral notes. The palate is medium bodied (a nice balanced 13.5% abv), with fine but very supportive tannins and balanced acidity. The tannins dry the finish out just a hair.

I think CT's community score of 90.1 pretty much nails this. It has lovely, complex flavors and a nice nose - man, I love Chenin Blanc.... The 13.5% abv doesn't show at all, which I appreciate compared to some of this wine's neighbors. This is very elegant, but it just lacks some depth and persistence on the palate, which would put it at a much higher score in my opinion.

The nose on this is explosive immediately upon pulling the cork (ripe fruits: pineapple, apricot flesh, honey - loads of honey). This has a lot of sugar (202g rs per liter) - I wish it had a bit more acidity. Nice long finish.

This shows now sign of age. The acidity is racing - almost too much for my acidity loving palate. It has the flavors of grapefruit and other citrus. The fruit has nice concentration and the finish is fairly long. I think it needs another 5+ years in the cellar.

2nd of 6. Similar presentation as my last bottle. Elegant and fairly balanced, but the 15% hit me a bit harder this time. The fruit is fresh and delicious and has pretty good persistency. The nose is lovely. 92-93.

4th of 6. This has nice freshness and elegance, and a fairly long finish. The oak overpowers a bit on the nose. Tannins are fine and could use time to shed. Sure, it doesn't have waves of fruit or massive persistence, but it is elegant and delicious and I'd be happy to drink this any night of the week.

14% abv, which shows a bit too much. I didn't have time to decant, but this could use it. Scorched earth nose that is otherwise closed, likely due to my non-decanting. The palate is a hair thin and very tannic, with the tannins overpowering and drying out the finish a bit. But there seems to be pretty nice fruit underneath, that should (I hope) shine with many more years of age. The finish is pretty quick at this point (other than the tannins) and the fruit lacks persistence/deep substance. This was perfectly fine with food if you want to drink it now, otherwise hold for a while and hope that it becomes more generous.

Comparing this with other vintages that I've tried, the finish is perhaps a hair shorter, and it doesn't explode in the mouth like some others, but it otherwise shows all of the complexity, beauty, elegance, balance, etc. of the other vintages. It is not by any means too sweet. It's an outstanding wine.

This showed beautifully tonight: rich, dark, complex, fairly long finish. It (surprisingly) wasn't overly tannic. It's a hair hot (14.5%), but still presents as well-balanced. It went well with our meat paella. It showed as youthful and full of beautiful fruit. This is a very nice wine. 92-93.

Day 2 update: This has filled out a bit overnight in an open bottle. I think it needs time. There is a lot of oak and lots of tannins that need to shed, but the fruit is quite fresh and delicious. Give it a few more years.

Original review: 88. This is tasty, but seems a hair thin and lacks a bit on the finish. Maybe time will improve this, but this was my only bottle.

This is in a nice spot now and is aging well - not showing any signs of fading. It still shows a lot of heat on the palate, and it lacks persistence, but the cherry fruits are quite tasty, if a little light in substance. The nose is dark and brooding. The tannins have receded quite a bit from my last bottles, but they are still there abundantly - as is the acidity. 89-90.

I tasted this alongside the 2015 and 2018, and this was tasty and elegant, if not a bit light-hearted compared to the other two vintages. I like the lower alcohol on this one (13.5%) and the freshness of fruit. The finish is noticeably shorter compared to the others, but I enjoyed the wine. 2018 was the best of the bunch in my opinion.

Fresh nose of dark fruits, cigar box, scorched earth and floral notes. The palate is medium bodied, fresh tasting, with a good amount of fine but somewhat drying tannins. The high alcohol (14.5%) shows a bit on the back end, but they managed to mostly integrate it in the dense fruit flavors. The finish is fairly long.

1st of a case. The nose on this is exuberant and lovely, showing lots of fine oak and fresh, ripe fruits (by no means overripe). 13% abv gives this a nicely balanced mouthfeel. It does feel a bit thin to me, and we noticed some green/bitter elements, but it also had great persistence and lovely flavor, so I'm hoping it will go up in score from here. Hold. 92-93+

1st of 3. I'm hoping this is just not ready, but in any case it didn't show nearly as well as the '16 Gouges Porrets that I had last night. This was a bit thin and tart for my taste. The tannins are firm and need time. The nose is fairly closed. I plan to wait a decade or so before trying another.

Nose of roses, dark fruits and cherries. No funk. The palate is fresh and delicious, showing some elegant oak, nice sweet fruit with good depth, good acidic lift, and excellent persistence. There are a lot of tannins, but they are super ripe and very well managed. This should age wonderfully for decades. 93-94

Similar to my last bottle - really a great showing. It shows little to no age. It needs a bit of air to come together fully. There is bright acidity, but it's not overwhelming. There is somewhat sweet fruit (balanced out nicely by the tang of the acid) that finishes long. This should drink well for another 5-10 years.

This is a very nicely balanced wine, despite its 15% abv. The fruit is fresh and delicious. The nose shows some plum notes, but also fresh red fruits and currants. There is some tobacco, menthol and licorice on the nose as well. The tannins are ripe and not overwhelming, but are certainly present. The acidity is supportive. A great package for an incredible price.

This bottle showed much more age compared to my bottle from earlier in the year. I think it should continue to hold for quite a while, but I was surprised by the oxidative notes that I didn't recall from earlier bottles. This was still enjoyable, but didn't blow us away.

This excellent wine was loved by all. I drank it alongside a 2003 Pontet-Canet, and then a 1/2 bottle of D'Issan 2016. I think everyone liked the D'Issans best. I preferred the 2016 by a hair, with its elegance and incredible freshness, but this wasn't far behind. It's quite full and layered, but with nice moderate alcohol. 93-94.
