Friday, February 19, 2016 - Deep ruby color turning violet at the rim with a thin transparent edge. The bouquet is profusely perfumed with potpourri, dried meat, red and dark berries, and scorched cedar. The palate is full-bodied, light on its feet with an attractive gripping texture coming from the wood. Flavors of red cherry, raspberry, red licorice, smoke, cowhide leather, clove, and black peppercorns. Balanced, meaty, sumptuous. Drink now until 2025. 92+
