Saturday, January 21, 2023 - It's a rare night when I rate a white wine higher than a red. Agelvis was kind enough to bring this one to the 1st night of the weekend event. Decanted for about 1+ hours before putting back into the bottle to take to the restaurant for dinner. Just a beautiful nose of buttered popcorn, citrus, oak, etc.....the palate recreates much of the same. Many people may underestimate the brilliance of this wine, but not me. I am very appreciative of Agelvis sharing this one with us. It paired wonderfully with the seafood at the table tonight and no matter the air, it doesn't fall apart or down in any way, with time. Borders on a 97 for me by the end of the night.......heck, I'm giving it a 97!
