  • SO'd for an hour, deep gold, creamy lemon; outstanding & got better as it warmed up & with more air/time, outstanding & likely will still improve, drink or preferably hold

  • One hour slow ox. Golden color. Tart pineapple, pear, and subtle caramel and minerality. Super smooth, dry, sultry palate. Very fine, lingering, mouth filling acidity.

Beautiful mouthfeel and long finish. Better than my last bottle almost a year ago. Great start to a terrific dinner at Fleming’s in Naples, FL. Big thank you to jsmorris707 for supplying so many nice bottles these last two days (and Mark1NPT for hosting me). Looking forward to the next gathering.

  • Brought to the table tonight by Joel with a 1 hour slow ox in bottle. Didn't realize I had this exact wine about 15 months ago with Agelvis but it is drinking essentially the same. Notes are about identical and so is the score!

This one benefitted from warming in the glass with lively acidity/energy. Loved that it has just the slightest hint of oak. This one is very precise and focused....class and elegance personified.....thanks, Joel!

  • New Years Eve, with Valerie at home. Good excuse to open this bottle, first tasting of this designate from 2018 vintage. Chilled, decanted for 60 minutes. Allowed to warm a bit in the decanter

Medium gold color. Nose showing citrus, melon, vanilla, mineral. Rich palate of candied citrus, butterscotch, ginger and honey....a lot going on here. Depth of the wine was impressive, evolving through the mid palate with nuance and secondary flavors. Full body and long finish.

Really spectacular on this evening, great at this point with probably another 10+ years ahead of it. Parker/Lisa Perotti gave this 100 points...obviously this is in the eye of the beholder/tongue of the taster...:) From this showing I can see why the rating was given, nothing lacking here - assuming one likes the style. Looking forward to seeing how this develops. Only holding back a couple points as it may get better?

Decant makes a difference with Aubert Chardonnay (in my experieince), this one worthy of having soime patience
