Friday, June 9, 2023 - Tasting evening with Bas & Lennart (Utrecht, NL): [Tasted blind] Called 20 year Chenin from the Loire. Didn’t have the sherry notes you often find in old Coulee. This got better with more air, although I still had the feeling it is past its peak. Still drinking nicely though. Deep golden, nutty, beewax, linoleum, dried yellow apple, some savoury notes, tomato leaf. Medium+ acidity, medium finish with some gunpowder flavors making it more interesting
