Saturday, October 31, 2009 - Popped and poured. First glass was just filled with aromas of cold smoked meats. There was a certain rawness to the meaty elements. It was a bit like walking into Salumi's in Seattle. On the palate there was more smokiness, but there was a hint of sweet red cherries on the back of the profile. Throughout the night the fruit came more to the front and the primal qualities fell more into a supporting role. Would purchase again.
