A: Deep ruby
N: Cassis, cedar, black cherry, baking spice, black pepper, coffee, mint , peach preserve .The fruit is ripe and jammy and dried.
P: Off dry, medium acid, medium smooth tannins, full body, high alcohol, medium (+) intensity and medium (+) finish
C: A Very Good Quality wine. More balance between the off dry ripe fruit and the acid is needed here. The wine wine has some complexity and good finish and intensity.
The wine is not suitable for ageing as the tannins and acid are insufficient to keep it fresh. The alcohol might serve that purpose but I see no tertiaries here and so the wine is unlikely to improve and increase in complexity.
