Monday, January 18, 2021 - Coravin fun - Lafon Rochet (My place, Kent Street): From Coravin. Medium minus intensity aromas initially but grows with time, showing blackcurrant, sweet spice, a little aniseed. After a while it shows cassis, plum and leather in support as well as a little tomato leaf, slight cream and Christmas cake. Changes in the glass to show cedar, very slight caramel as well. In the mouth it's juicy, sweetly fruited then a wash of chalky tannins take over the palate, fruit persists with a little cream, alcohol warmth lends spice, long, finishes, very slightly bitter, savoury. Okay.
