90 Points

Sunday, May 6, 2012 - This has been on my counter under stopper the past 4 nights. I was ready to basically pan this as a non-descript "good" Spanish red. But tonight it blossomed into a wine that could easily be mistaken for a 2007 Honig (Napa) Cabernet Sauvignon because of its savory deliciousness. That says a lot about this 8 year post-vintage 100% Tempranillo - that it would improve this way under stopper. Kudos to Tom Matthews from Spectator for flagging this one as being special. Nice call.
