Tuesday, March 3, 2015 - Now THIS is what I was hoping for from the RPM project. Where the '11 seemed trying too hard to be Cru Beaujolais, this vintage owns it's California terrior. That's not to say this is a big wine, it's just Gamay with a little more flesh on its bones, a Gamay with a sun drenched face. Even so, this wine is all about rocks and tea and flowers... and dark cherry and raspberry fruit. Really, really damn good.
