Thursday, January 10, 2019 - Soft nose with notes of blueberry, blackberry, smoke, and damp leaves. More dark fruit on the front of the palate, and a nice slightly tannic finish. It is a bit “hot” throughout, due to the 14% + ABV, but an excellent accompaniment to rich winter dishes.
