Saturday, November 19, 2022 - Burgundy 2012 against German-speaking competitors: N: this was also quite reserved, but was more on herbs and mineral notes.
On the palate it seemed light compared to the other two, almost simple. But it showed a lovely structure withe very fine tannins.
Day 2:
N: cherries and blackberries, earthy and elegant, with broth and balsamic notes.
On the palate it is straight and narrow, almost austere - not lively.
Finish is slightly salty. It has substance and power, but is austere.
