Wednesday, September 14, 2016 - Rare Northern Rhone Birthday - 1991: An expressive nose but definitely showing a fair bit of wood. Meaty but also quite dry. Nice bits of smoke throughout. Palate is still excellent but the oak is well pronounced. Not nearly the moving experience the first time around a year ago.
