Compared to a 2014 Aubert Sugar Shack, this one had more caramelized nut, salinity and sweetness on top of a yellow fruit backbone. Done impeccably well. This pair of 14 Auberts were a good combination as there was just enough similarity yet just enough disparity as well that gave each its distinctive personality. I think this one has another 5 years in it easily, but when they're drinking this well you wonder....why hold???
