Thursday, June 8, 2017 - A week in Paris - with a side trip to Reims; 6/8/2017-6/14/2017: From the wine list at Brasserie Vagenade (Paris). Nose not very expressive but was served in small glasses, Dark color, very dark fruits (blackberry, black currants) and more fruit forward than savory at this point. Clearly too young to be drinking, not showing a lot of depth or complexity and tannins too prominent causing quite a lot of astringency on the finish. Paired with steak frites.
