London Calling; 1/15/2020-1/17/2020 (Londres - GB): From a new bottle after rejecting one already open and that in the nose was not typical. This second one is spiced with notes of plums and toasted black fruit. In the mouth it stands out for its marked acidity and its still present tannins. Everything gives persistence and sapidity. Have to wait five more years to extract the delicious stuff.
De una botella nueva tras rechazar una ya abierta y que en nariz no era típica. Esta segunda se muestra especiada con notas de ciruelas y tostados de fruta negra. En boca destaca por su marcada acidez y sus taninos aún presentes. Todo le otorga persistencia y sapidez. Hay que esperar cinco años más para extraer lo delicioso.

Dark, black forrest fruits, spices. Very well structured, good grippy taninnes, fine accids, dry. Rather long finish. Developing wine. I will wait a couple of years for the other bottles.

Bu dans le Wine bar en Succ. Beau Crozes bien frais et juteux. Un nez fragrant sur les épices et les fruits noirs. En bouche, c'est raffiné et tout simplement délicieux. Des mures, du cassis, du poivre, de la viande fumée et des herbes. Très long et digeste...la note reflète la hausse du prix si non c'était un 93 et un excellent RQP au prix des autres millésimes

A week in Paris - with a side trip to Reims; 6/8/2017-6/14/2017: From the wine list at Brasserie Vagenade (Paris). Nose not very expressive but was served in small glasses, Dark color, very dark fruits (blackberry, black currants) and more fruit forward than savory at this point. Clearly too young to be drinking, not showing a lot of depth or complexity and tannins too prominent causing quite a lot of astringency on the finish. Paired with steak frites.
