Tuesday, August 8, 2017 - Tuesday Night Double Blind $60+ (Roswell, GA): A very small pour, got to the tasting late; dark dull maroon, lots of sediment; nose is blowing, plenty of age, mushroom, decaying fruit, wet earth, truffles galore, red fruit, spice, close, sexy, nose explodes from glass, plum, wild berry; good freshness on the palate, again strong mushroom with softer aged fruit; very interesting and well stored bottle; elixir, I could have smelled this all day; I was apparently closer than many with the '75 Pichon Lalande call.
