A: Deep ruby with purple at the edges
N: Medium nose. Blackberry, black cherry, eucalyptus and mocha.Baking spice and some blueberries (maybe) here. The fruit is overripe and dry.
P: Dry, high alcohol, medium (+) acid, intensity, finish, tannin and full body.
C: Very good quality. Can lay down but drinking well now.

Guesses:
Argentine Malbec or Australian Shiraz. The eucalyptus put me in either of those countries and the black fruit and mocha leaned Malbec while the black and blue fruit suggested Shiraz. The purple highlights indicated either of these grapes. My final guess was Aussie Shiraz as there was enough eucalyptus concentration for it. I expect more in Aussie wines. The lack of black pepper and smoked meat was really odd and surprised Cauble said this was typical because what i was tasting in my glass didn't seem to be. Maybe it needed more time to open up.
