Wednesday, February 9, 2022 - Absolutely gorgeous perfectly mature nose displaying sweet slightly dry black fruit, blackberry, black cherry, sous bois, a hint of stem, caramel, soy, Vosne spice, Asian medicinal chest, black tea and earth. Perfectly mature palate, layer upon layers of rich sweet black fruit, silky, rich and oily, medium acidity, earthy mineral, still noticeable but fine tannins, and a long ripe black fruit driven finish with sous bois and cinnamon at the end. The nose remains very expressive. The palate is slightly angular. I am once again surprised by how well this wine is drinking.
