Saturday, October 28, 2023 - Drank pnp at cellar temperature, then one chilled decanted serving and a final slow ox glass. The pnp nose was just incredibly but a slight bitterness overshadowed the palate. This, however, quickly dissolved. Wine profits from air, although I don't think it needs a lot. Definitely at peak now, but probably got another five years+ in it. Extremely hard hitting nose. Rich and full-bodied palate without feeling cheap or uncomplex. A wine that's not afraid of creaminess, pretty nuances of new oak, and what I imagine old school white burgundy might have been like. Certainly overpriced on the secondary market, though.
