Tuesday, March 7, 2023 - 100% organic Cab. Sauv. from 1200' vineyard. Deep ruby. Med+ to pronounced black cherry, blackberry, black plum, dark chocolate, cocoa, earth and sweet baking spices from 16 months in French oak, 45% new. Dry, but very fruit-forward and generous, despite the altitude. Med acidity, med, polished tannins and high alcohol (14.8%). Full bodied, w/ med+ to pronounced flavor intensity, a smooth, creamy mouthfeel and a lingering finish. Drinking well at 5 years. Ageworthy.
