Tannicbeast summarizes nicely. A year later it's drinking quite nicely. A very extracted style, with modest acidity at this point. Great on it's own, no food required. It seems to be reaching it's peak and would recommend drinking now, vs waiting.

100% organic Cab. Sauv. from 1200' vineyard. Deep ruby. Med+ to pronounced black cherry, blackberry, black plum, dark chocolate, cocoa, earth and sweet baking spices from 16 months in French oak, 45% new. Dry, but very fruit-forward and generous, despite the altitude. Med acidity, med, polished tannins and high alcohol (14.8%). Full bodied, w/ med+ to pronounced flavor intensity, a smooth, creamy mouthfeel and a lingering finish. Drinking well at 5 years. Ageworthy.

Have to agree with both @VINNUT and @REDULES. This is a young mountain cab from Napa that I got for the very reasonable price of $30. It does have a wonderful fruit forward nose and we did get the Howell Mtn dustiness with some cocoa. It was definitely better the second night which suggest that it should continue to improve - maybe even dramatically - in the next 3 to 5 years.
